A small and difficult site on the Hudson River was creatively planned to enable the construction of a large two family apartment building, with abundant river views from both units.

An expansive three story porch was designed for both units to have river-facing outdoor space. Prefabrication was used to reduce construction time and disturbance to adjacent properties.

Details referencing the traditional Hudson Valley craftsman style were integrated into the design. Interior spaces were planned strategically to take advantage of the limited light exposure of the site.

Clear graphic presentation ensured a smooth Planning Board approval process.
