A narrow and neglected storefront was transformed in a bright contemporary neighborhood bookshop.
The tailored, custom-built retail space is the product of ongoing dialog and open collaboration between the shop owner, architect and millwork fabricator.
Thoughtful planning of architectural elements and careful detailing enables the new design to integrate seamlessly with the historic character of the existing pre-war building.
